All England 2023 Semifinal Results: Rehan/Lisa Defeated by the World Rank 1 Chinese Pair

BIRMINGHAM – The Indonesian mixed doubles pair, Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati, stopped in the semifinals of the All England 2023 after losing to Chinese representatives, Zheng Si Wei/Huang Ya Qiong. The match which was held at the Utilita Arena, Birmingham, England, on Saturday (18/3/2023) took place at a fairly fast tempo from the start.

Even though they caught up in the first game, Rehan/Lisa were unable to beat the world number 1 pair. Zheng/Huang showed their experience and ability by mastering the match. They managed to finish the game with a final score of 17-21, 21-13, 21-13.

In the second game, Rehan/Lisa managed to take the lead with a score of 7-1, but Zheng/Huang got up and caught up. Rehan/Lisa managed to win the second game with a final score of 21-13, but in the third game they had to give up after the points got stuck at 8. The final score of this game was 21-13 for Zheng/Huang to win.

Even though they lost, Rehan/Lisa deserve thumbs up for their performance at the All England 2023. They managed to show quite good quality in their game and attracted the attention of the audience.
