2023 Saudi Arabia GP FP3 F1 Results: Red Bull Dominates, Max Verstappen Fastest

JEDDAH – Two Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez dominated free practice 3 (FP3) of Formula 1 (F1) GP Saudi Arabia 2023. They occupied the top two positions at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, Saturday (18/3/2023).

Verstappen continues to dominate as the fastest racer after FP2 and FP1 also occupy the top rankings. The Dutch racer recorded his best time of 1 minute 28.485 seconds in the third free practice.

Perez took second place with a record time of 1 minute 29.098. . The Spaniard was 0.613 seconds behind Verstappen.

Aston Martin continues to stick to Red Bull by placing its two drivers in fourth and fifth positions. Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll occupy a position above the Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton.

Alonso is in third place. The racer who finished third on the podium in the opening series in Bahrain recorded his best time of 1:29.483.

Stroll clocked 1.024 seconds longer than Verstappen with 1:29.509. While Lewis Hamilton took fifth place with a record time of 1:29.568. The Mercedes driver was 1.083 seconds behind Verstappen.

In the Ferrari camp it looks like they still can’t compete with other top teams. The two drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz finished in 6th and 10th respectively.
