Another country will send planes to Ukraine, Kremlin: We will destroy them all

Russia is threatening to destroy any fighter jets Ukraine receives from countries that are supporting it, after Slovakia became the second country after Poland to promise to send MiG-29s to Kiev’s aid.

Slovakia grounded its MiG fleet last year and no longer uses them, and these aircraft will soon join the Ukrainian defense.

Official Kiev, for its part, has requested modern aircraft, but the need for pilot training has caused it to reject and accept MiG-29 aircraft. These aircraft date back to the era of the Soviet Union, and Ukrainian pilots know them quite well.

The Kremlin spokesman reacted harshly to the plans to send planes to the aid of Ukraine and added that they will all be shot down, stressing that they will have no effect on the war front.
