SLEMAN – Madura United assistant coach, Rakhmad Basuki emphasized that his troops have the ambition to take revenge against Bali United in the continuation of League 1 2022/2023. Moreover, Laskar Sapeh Kerrab has good capital to achieve positive results.
Madura United will actually play an away match against Bali United. However, the duel will take place at Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Thursday (16/3/2023) at 17.00 WIB.
This opportunity will be used by Madura United to hurt the defending champion of League 1. The reason is, in the first meeting, they had to give up 1-3 to Serdadu Tridatu.
Rakhmad Basuki said that Madura United was determined to avenge the defeat in the first meeting against Bali United.
“What is clear is that all the players, including myself, don’t want to lose again against Bali United, we want revenge for our defeat in the first round, losing with a score of 3-1,” said Rakhmad Basuki.
Madura United is highly motivated because it has good capital. The visiting team won 2-1 over PSS Sleman and 2-0 over PSIS Semarang.
Rakhmad Basuki explained that the two consecutive wins were a good capital to defeat Stefano Cugurra’s fleet.
“But the mentality and players are extraordinary at the moment, especially when two games get very positive results, of course it will be a very good capital against Bali United and hopefully the target of three points can be achieved,” he explained in a statement received by SINDOnews, Monday (13/3/ 2023).
Rakhmad Basuki admitted that he wanted to field young players. However, you have to look at the conditions and situation on the ground before making a decision.
