Persikabo 1973 also won two important wins in their last two matches, winning 1-2 from PSS Sleman away and beating Bali United by the same score when they were the hosts.

Because of that, the 1973 Persikabo coach, Aidil Sharin, tried to prepare his team not to want his team’s rising trend to be broken when they faced PSM Makassar.
