JAKARTA – Mandiri ITB Ultra Marathon 2022 is ready to be held this year after being delayed. The annual event which has been held since 2017 will be held with the starting point at Menara Mandiri, Jakarta, March 10 2023.

The event was actually planned to be held last year. However, due to the Cianjur earthquake on November 21, 2022, the event had to be temporarily postponed.

As a sign of sympathy for residents affected by the disaster, the Mandiri ITB Ultra Marathon 2022 committee has donated IDR 100 million for the Cianjur earthquake victims. The registration period has been extended to February 17, 2023.

By the time the event was held, the committee had managed to recruit more than 170 communities. As many as 3,0000 runners will also participate in the marathon with a distance of approximately 180 km.

Apart from the main event, various activities also enlivened the Mandiri ITB Ultra Marathon 2022 series, such as the joint exercise “road to Mandiri ITB Ultra Marathon 2022” which was successfully attended by hundreds of participants in two main cities, namely Jakarta and Bandung. The Mandiri ITB Ultra Fun Run event was also held.

The event is the choice for runners to run while enjoying the city of Bandung in a non-competitive manner. At the same time, an interesting tradition for Ultra Marathon runners and supporters who have successfully completed the Jakarta-Bandung long-distance running mission will do a victory run from the courtyard of the ITB rectorate, Jalan Tamansari no. 64 to the finish area, in Sabuga.

This is a manifestation of gratitude and happiness for the achievements of the runners in completing each stage that must be passed. The highlight of the grand race event is the UMKM Bazaar and various interesting entertainments which will be held at Sasana Budaya Ganesha on March 12 2023.

At the MSME bazaar event, Bank Mandiri also presented easy payment facilities with QRIS and various attractive promos for each Mandiri customer who also enlivened the bazaar.

On this occasion, Bank Mandiri also introduced the latest features that are present in the Livin’ by Mandiri superapps, namely Mandiri Virtual Debit, Foreign Currency Transfers, and the addition of SBN products that Mandiri customers can purchase through Livin’ Investment. This feature is presented so that it is easier for customers to make payment transactions, transfer abroad anywhere and anytime, and invest without the need to come directly to the nearest Bank Mandiri branch.
