JAKARTA – The list of participants who will take part in the IBL All Star 2023 has been announced. As many as 24 players divided into two teams are ready to entertain basketball fans in Indonesia.
In order to celebrate 20 years of IBL, the theme for this edition of All Star is slightly different.
One team will be filled with veteran Indonesian basketball players. Meanwhile, another team has potential talents.
A total of 24 players were selected to participate in IBL All Star 2023. They are divided into Legacy and Future teams. This event will be held at Knight Stadium, Semarang, 19 March 2023.
The Legacy team consists of 12 players who have been involved in the Indonesian basketball competition for a long time.
Veterans such as Andakara Prastawa (Pelita Jaya), Arki Wisnu (Satria Muda), and Kelly Purwanto (Amartha Hangtuah) are in it.
Satria Muda is the biggest contributor to the Legacy team with four players. They are Sandy Ibrahim, Widyanta Teja, Arki Wisnu, and Juan Laurent.
Meanwhile, 12 talented young players are ready to guard the Future team. Yudha Saputera (Prawira Bandung), Muhammad Arighi (Pelita Jaya), and Ali Bagir (Satria Muda) will show off.
Participants of the IBL All Star 2023 made threats to each other during a press conference held in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Thursday (9/3/2023). At the same time, the jerseys that will be used by the two teams were also introduced to the public.
