Ganjar and Prabowo Duet During the Great Harvest in Kebumen, a Strong Signal of Jokowi’s Support?

Suara.com – President Joko Widodo or Jokowi paid a working visit to Central Java to observe the rice harvest and have dialogue with farmers in Lajer Village, Kebumen, Central Java, Thursday (9/3/2023). During his review, Jokowi invited Defense Minister (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo.

During these activities, Jokowi took a photo with Prabowo and Ganjar.

In the photo, Jokowi and Prabowo can be seen wearing white shirts, while Ganjar is wearing a brown service uniform. They took pictures with farmers in the fields, and there are photos showing Jokowi holding a cellphone, and Ganjar holding a cellphone.

This moment of togetherness seemed to be Jokowi’s signal to pair Ganjar with Prabowo.

Based on survey results from a number of institutions, the Ganjar and Prabowo duo have the potential to win the election.

For example, the Indonesia Polling Station (IPS) simulation at the end of February said that the Prabowo-Ganjar duo won an electability of 58.5 percent.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Charta Politika simulation at the end of 2022 says the electability of Ganjar-Prabowo has reached 45.3 percent.

Jokowi’s working visit to Central Java was also attended by Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Head of the National Food Agency Arief Prasetyo Adi, and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo.

Based on the written statement from the Press, Media and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, Jokowi then headed to the Area-Based Shrimp Cultivation Pond (BUBK) located in Plesung Village, Karangrejo, Petanahan District, Kebumen Regency to inaugurate it.

After that, Jokowi is scheduled to visit the Petanahan Market to hand over some social assistance to traders.
