WBO, IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight world champion, Oleksandr Usyk responds to Tyson Fury for undisputed heavyweight fight. Usyk is awaiting a deal to complete his undisputed fight with Tyson Fury, who holds the WBC world title.

Usyk just grabbed a unanimous decision victory over British superstar, Anthony Joshua. The requirements are still being negotiated by the respective teams. “I need this fight and that’s it. I think he needs it too. This fight is very important for both of us,” Usyk told The Overlap.

“Those four belts have never been held by one person. So we both needed this fight.”

Usyk predicts Fury will be a more dangerous opponent than Joshua. Fury will have a significant advantage in terms of size when both fighters enter the ring, but Usyk is not intimidated by the tough task ahead. “Yes of course [dia akan lebih berbahaya]he has a different style,” said Usyk.

“Fury is braver. I’m not afraid of Tyson Fury. It will be like any other fight. It’s just a big guy who has never lost to a guy with a WBC belt. Of course it’s possible to get carried away, but actually it’s a normal fight for all belts.

Oleksandr Usyk ignores the judgment that he will not be able to face Tyson Fury who has a tall and large body. “If someone is bigger than me it doesn’t mean they are stronger than me. If they have longer arms it doesn’t mean it is an advantage. I have been boxing since I was 15 years old. They kept telling me I shouldn’t be boxing. They told me I wasn’t going to be Olympic champion or world champion and that I shouldn’t switch to heavyweight division.

“But that is the opinion of people who can’t do it alone. Personally, I keep praying and moving forward. I don’t worry whether I will reach my goal. It’s like a samurai. He has no goal, he has his own path. I also have my own path.”
