PEKALONGAN – The first day of the POBSI Pool Circuit 2023 tournament series I Pekalongan has passed 16 athletes to enter the round of 32. The billiard tournament which took place at Merdeka Pool & Lounge, Pekalongan, Central Java, from 7-10 March 2023 was attended by a total of 69 from 21 Provinces.

On the first day of the tournament, 34 athletes played with a double elimination system to enter the round of the top 32, as a result several new names also enlivened the competition for the next round.

Surprisingly, the provisional leader in the national ranking points, Rizky from the ESBE club, fell on the opening day of the POBSI Pool Circuit Series I in Pekalongan. He had to lose the first match when he met Indonesian pool legend Ricky Yang, then on the second occasion he also had to lose to Rico H from the Bacoot club.

With this result, of course the competition in the hunt for Indonesia’s best billiards is increasingly competitive, coupled with the return of Indonesian Billiards Maestros, Ricky Yang and Siauw Wieto.
