Check out the Rules for Buying 3 Kg LPG Gas, Buyers Must Be Registered Starting January 1, 2024!
The government issued a regulation to buy subsidized 3 kilograms (kg) of LPG. In that rule, the government requires registered buyers starting January 1, 2024, Beauties.
This is regulated in the Decree of the Director General (Kepdirjen) of Oil and Gas (Migas) Number 99.K/MG.05/DJM/2023 concerning Regional Phases and Timing of Implementation of Targeted Distribution of Certain Liquefied Petroleum Gas Refills.
The policy signed by the Director General of Oil and Gas Tutuka Ariaji on February 28 is a derivative of the Decree of the Minister (Kepmen) of ESDM Number 37.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2023 concerning Technical Instructions for Distribution of Refills for Certain Liquefied Petroleum Gas on Target.
“Since January 1, 2024, it has been enforced that only certain LPG users who have been recorded in a web-based system and/or application can buy certain LPG,” wrote the Attachment to the Director General of Oil and Gas 37/2023, quoted on Tuesday (7/3).

In the first stage, the regulation explains that the data collection for 3 Kg LPG buyers will be carried out in stages starting in March 2023.
In detail, data collection on 3 Kg LPG buyers in Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara will be carried out in stages starting March 1, 2023.
Then, data collection on melon LPG buyers in Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi will be carried out in stages starting May 1, 2023.
“Evaluation of the implementation of certain LPG user data collection as referred to in number 1 and number 2 is carried out every month and at any time when necessary,” wrote the Oil and Gas Directorate General 37/2023.
In the second stage, data by name by address of buyers will be matched with welfare ratings from the relevant ministries/agencies.

Later, buyers who are recorded and listed in the data by name by address can buy LPG with a limit on the volume of purchases per month per user of a certain LPG.
The second stage of distribution of Certain LPG refills is carried out after the presidential regulations governing the targeting of Certain LPG users come into effect.
Furthermore, the Business Entity Recipient of the Assignment for the Supply and Distribution of Certain LPG is obliged to submit a written report regarding the implementation of the stages of distribution of Certain LPG refills on target to the Director General of Oil and Gas every month or at any time if necessary.
The trial of collecting data on melon LPG consumers has been carried out for some time. The data collection includes filling in the National Identity Number (NIK).
