RIYADH – Cristiano Ronaldo rocked the world of football by choosing Al-Nassr after being sacked by Manchester United (MU). However, what is no less horrendous is the wages he gets with the club from Saudi Arabia.

On 30 December 2022, Al-Nassr announced that he had reached an agreement with Ronaldo. However, CR7 only officially joined on January 1, 2023.

Al-Nassr did recruit Ronaldo for free because he had been kicked out by MU. But, they still spend big money to pay salaries.

Ronaldo has reportedly agreed to a two-year contract. But, what makes you shake your head, the former Real Madrid and Juventus star receives USD 200 million per year.

It is believed to be the highest paid footballer receives. When calculated, the 38-year-old veteran can receive hundreds of dollars per minute.

If the nominal is broken down, Ronaldo will get USD 16.6 million per month. Or earn USD 548 thousand every 24 hours.

Then more than USD 22 thousand every hour or 60 minutes. Then, USD380 per minute and USD6, 34 per second.

This confirmed him as the highest paid footballer in the world. He defeated Kylian Mbappe who is currently defending Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

If you compare his salary to his current market price of $20 million, the difference is 10 times.
