The capybara animal has gone viral, especially on social media Twitter because it has been used as a funny meme. Investigate a calibaration, the capybara meme trend called “Masbro” seems to be inspired by the nature of these animals which seem calm and very friendly for the size of an animal.

This is evidenced in a video showing a capybara standing on a crocodile’s back casually. Others, there are photos of capybaras sitting relaxed with other animals, as if they were hanging out together.

1. The Largest Rodent on Earth

Quoting the Brittanica page, the capybara (Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris) is the largest rodent on earth, with a body size of around 35-66 kg and a height that can reach 135 cm.

The characteristics of the capybara are that it has a brownish fur color, a blunt muzzle, small eyes, a small nose, small ears and short legs. They are still closely related to guinea pigs or guinea pigs.

This semi-aquatic mammal inhabits the forests and wetlands of much of northern and central South America, including in the Amazon jungle region.
