Jimmy Kimmel Returns As Host Of The 95th Oscars

Jimmy Kimmel is preparing to return to hosting this year’s Academy Awards or the Oscars in Hollywood, California.

According to him, there were only two ways to prepare for it.

“One way is to write as much material for jokes as possible, and another way is to try to match the tuxedo jacket that is worn later,” he told the Associated Press.

Jimmy Kimmel, who will return to host the 95th Academy Awards on March 12 local time, added that he is currently busy writing his jokes.

“I’ve hosted the Oscars twice before and I think I know what needs to be done. You just have to be funny at the start and throughout the show, and apologize over and over about the show taking so long,” he added.

One important thing to keep in mind is that usually the show doesn’t always go as expected.

“I think you have to be prepared for whatever happens. And you never know when something crazy or surprising might happen. Things like that happen a lot these days. When something like that happens I just wish I could have opportunity to comment on that on stage,” he said.

55-year-old Jimmy Kimmel hosted the Academy Awards for the first time in 2017. At that time he managed to weather the chaos that followed when an error read the best picture winner, and then the following year, during the #MeToo movement, the movement society against violence and sexual harassment.
