Explosion minutes after launch, Japan is forced to destroy the space rocket

“It will take some time to understand the cause of this failure or to take any action. In terms of cost, it will increase. But at the end of the day, in a normal operational status, which includes cost considerations, we still aim to create an internationally competitive rocket,” stated Hiroshi Yamakawa, President of the Japan Space Agency.
