FERGANA – Uzbekistan U-20 forced the Indonesian U-20 national team to defend for the first 45 minutes of the final match of Group A of the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup at the Istiqlol Stadium, Tuesday (7/3/2023). The result of the first half ended in a 0-0 draw.
The pressure was on the U-20 Indonesian National Team from the moment the whistle was blown. Uzbekistan players did not give the slightest room to build a game.

Throughout the first 20 minutes, the hosts kept the defense of the U-20 Indonesian National Team in check. Uzbekistan got a golden opportunity from Abbosbek Fayzullaev.
Luckily his left foot shot inside the penalty box still hit Kakang’s head. In the 29th minute, Daffa Fasya made a brilliant save when he brushed off the opponent’s kick.
In the remaining time of the first round match, the Indonesian national team was still unable to get out of the pressure. Until the first interval after the score was a goalless draw did not change.
In the second half later, Indonesia U-20 must make changes and score lots of goals. The reason is, in a separate match, Iraq U-20 has so far won 1-0 over Syria U-20.
