Suara.com – This morning, Wednesday (7/12/2022) at around 08.00 WIB there was a suicide bombing at the Astanaanyar Sector Police Headquarters in Bandung City, West Java. Two units of Indonesian Automatic Fingerprint Identification System or Inafis Polri cars from the West Java Police and a number of tactical cars from the West Java Police Mobile Brigade were deployed to the location.
Apart from that, a two-wheeled vehicle or motorbike was also found which was allegedly belonging to the suicide bomber, as reported by the website NTMC Police.

“11 people became victims, consisting of 10 members of the Police and one civilian. One member of the Police died on behalf of Aiptu Sofyan,” explained Inspector General of Police Suntana around the Astanaanyar Police Headquarters.

One civilian died when the incident was passing around the location. Meanwhile, the suicide bomber was confirmed dead at the location.
At that time, the perpetrator forced himself to approach a police officer who was carrying out a rally. Then he was chased in by several police officers.
“And he approached, the perpetrator still wanted to approach the members, then brandished a knife, suddenly there was an explosion,” explained Inspector General of Police Suntana.
The West Java Regional Police Chief stated that it would take time to uncover the suicide bombing incident.
“After asking for time, the police will carry out a TKP examination in the form of a location check, examination including fingerprints, to determine the identity of the suicide bomber,” he concluded.
Based on the monitoring of the Antara news agency at the location, a police line was installed on the Astanaanyar Road section, starting in front of the Istana Helmet Shop to the Pasirkoja-Astanaanyar Canal Road junction.
A police line was also installed behind the Astanaanyar Police Station, namely on Jalan Pajagalan. The back fence was closed and guarded by uniformed police officers.
