whereas, before appearing in Qatar, Noppert had been at the lowest point in his life. He became a victim of bullying, became unemployed, was told to retire early from football and enlisted in the police force.
Noppert brought the Netherlands to a 2-0 win over Senegal in the first Group A match at Al-Thumama Stadium, Doha, Monday (21/11/2022) early morning. That match was a historic moment for him at the international level.
The reason is, Noppert has just made his debut with the Netherlands. Even more amazing, his first match was directly on the 2022 World Cup stage.
Noppert could maximize that match by keeping a clean sheet in that match. The 28-year-old player performed brilliantly by making many neat saves.

Noppert only made two appearances for the club based in the western part of the Netherlands. The reason is none other than a knee injury.
