The chairman of the NasDem DPP Willy Aditya revealed that there are a number of factors that hinder the NasDem-PKS-Democrat coalition plan for the 2024 presidential election. One of them is that there is no agreement regarding the presidential and vice presidential candidates.
“Not really (stuck in the cawapres) there are many factors. There are presidential candidate factors, cawapres factors, there are also platform factors, and momentum factors. There are many of these factors which will then continue to be finalized,” Willy told reporters as quoted on Thursday (29/29/2020). 9/2022).
Willy also said that in building the NasDem coalition, they wanted to start from a platform for a common struggle about what kind of change they wanted. So, he continued, what political steps will be taken in the future.
“So this is a dynamic matter, but on the other hand there is also political communication with others,” he said.

For him, if an agreement has been reached between NasDem, PKS and Democrats, sooner or later it will be announced. So far, there is an 80 percent chance that the three political parties will form a coalition.
“It’s impossible, we won’t announce it. The agreement has not yet been reached, some time ago I said it was still 80 percent. Yes, it’s still that far,” he concluded.
NasDem responds to PKS Establishes Communication with Golkar
Previously, the Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council of the Republic of Indonesia from the NasDem Party faction, Willy Aditya, also admitted that he was doubtful about PKS’ response to open communication with the Golkar Party about the coalition for the 2024 presidential election.
The reason, according to Willy, is because everything is still very dynamic regarding the coalition so far.
“Everyone is still communicating with one another. After all, what is the guarantee that the existing coalition will depart? The captain doesn’t exist yet.” said Willy at the office of the NasDem Faction, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (28/9/2022).

According to him, if PKS does not join NasDem and the democrats, the coalition plan will automatically disband. NasDem will also conduct an assessment with other parties.
“If it’s not enough, then just disband. That’s what I call dynamics. Nasdem is also opening a coalition, others are also open,” he said.
Willy further said, indeed everything is still very dynamic ahead of the upcoming 2024 presidential election, NasDem itself currently has a time limit until November 2022 regarding the preparation of the presidential election.
“But NasDem is still on the November time limit, we have one name and a coalition package,” said Willy.
