Recently, it was discovered that the former head of the KPK’s Legislation Section, Rasamal Aritonang and former KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah and Arman Hanis and Sarmauli Simangunsong were officially appointed as lawyers for the murder suspects of Brigadier J, Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi.
“As legal advisers, it is our job to ensure the process,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Febri stated that he and Rasamala would provide objective legal assistance to their clients.
“I have also stated clearly that the legal assistance that will be carried out with the Team is legal assistance in an objective manner, not blindly, not blaming the right and not justifying the wrong,” said Febri.
He revealed that he and Rasamala had met Ferdy Sambo in his detention at Mako Brimob. To him, the main suspect in the murder of Brigadier J pleaded guilty.
“At that time, Mr. Ferdy Sambo agreed and even confirmed that he acknowledged a number of actions that were committed and was ready to account for them in an objective and balanced legal process,” he explained.
“Even as Bang Arman Hanis said earlier, Mr. Ferdy Sambo regretted being in a very emotional condition at that time,” he continued.
