Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz, on Tuesday (27/9), reshuffled his cabinet in his government. He appointed his son, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, as Prime Minister.
Announcements on state television stations Al Ekhbariya mentioned that Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman was appointed Defense Minister, taking over from his brother, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.
Mohammed Bin Salman served as Deputy Prime Minister in the previous cabinet.
In the new reshuffled cabinet, the position of head of the interior, foreign and energy ministries remains the same as before. [ka/jm]
