Red Hot Chili Peppers will be releasing their 13th album titled Return of The Dream Canteen.
The album opens with single rhythmic prime of funky rock Tippa My Tongue.
Now, RHCP has released the second song from the album, entitled Eddie.
Titled song Eddie this turned out to be a form of RHCP’s dedication to the late Eddie Van Halen.
Anthony Kiedis, the vocalist of RHCP, stated that Eddie was a very instrumental figure in the journey of music in the world.
This made Kiedis feel the need for RHCP to create a special work for Eddie.
“Sometimes we don’t realize how deeply and connected we are with the artist until the day they die. Eddie Van Halen is one of them,” Kiedis said.
“The day after his death, Flea did training with bassline emotional ones. John, Chad and I started playing together and soon with all our hearts a song in his honor was easily opened. It’s great to be sad and so caring for someone who has given so much to our lives.”

In addition, this RHCP song specifically describes the late Eddie as a genius musician in the world.
“Even though the song doesn’t speak to Eddie by name, it does speak of his early days on the Sunset Strip and the rug rock n roll that Van Halen paints in our minds. In the end, our song asks you not to remember Eddie for dying but for living his wildest dreams,” Kiedis continued.
RHCP’s latest album is scheduled to be released on October 14, 2022 through Warner Records.
Kiedis representing RHCP said that this album was created mysteriously from the togetherness of the personnel.
“We’re looking for ourselves as a band that somehow we always have. Just for fun, we jam and learn some old songs,” said Kiedis.
“Soon we started the mysterious process of building a new song. A little bit of interference chemistry beautiful people who have befriended us hundreds of times along the way.”
