Bagnaia’s performance over the last five series MotoGP 2022 is amazing. Pecco is always on the podium, with four wins and one second place.
However, in his two most recent races, Bagnaia has always competed with Enea Bastianini. As a result, many felt that Ducati should have ordered a team order, so that no other representatives could threaten Bagnaia.
However, Bagnaia insists such a thing is not necessary. He feels more satisfied if he can win through fair competition on the track.
“To be honest, I don’t think help is needed to be up front. I prefer to win on the track and not because someone let me pass,” said Bagnaia, on the official MotoGP website.
However, the Italian rider is fully aware that all decisions are in the hands of Ducati. He emphasized that he was not involved in making decisions in the event of a team-order.
“In any case, I’m not the one making the decisions. That’s something I’ve already said, which lets me do as I please. If they decide something, it’s not because of me,” he said.
Bagnaia insists he wants to race as usual. He believes he can compete in the front row at the Mobility Resort Motegi Circuit.
