RFEF confirms 15 players refuse to play for Spain women’s national team/Photo/Sky Sports
The RFEF confirmed that the 15 players from the Spanish women’s national team had sent a letter to REFE to sack Vilda. However, considering the situation, the RFEF did not remain silent and took firm action on the situation.

The RFEF is adamant in its stance on choosing Vidal. The Spanish football authority said players were not allowed to question the decision to choose a coach, as only the federation could make that decision.
“The RFEF will not allow the players to question the coach’s continuation, as making this decision is not part of their role,” wrote REFE.

Furthermore, REFE will not call up players who refuse to play for the Spanish national team in the following years. They can return to wearing the uniform of the Spanish national team, if they admit their mistakes and apologize.
“Footballers who have submitted their resignations will only return to the national team in the future if they realize their mistake and apologize,” the statement continued.
While 15 players who refused to defend the Spanish national team. They are Patri Guijarro, Maria Leon, Aitana Bonmati, Mariona Caldentey, Sandra Panos, Andrea Pereira, Claudia Pina, Batlle, Aleixandri, Ouahabi, Ainhoa Vicente, Lucia Garcia, Lola Gallardo, Amaiur Sarriegi and Nerea Eizagirre.
