Diaz has indeed managed to beat Tony Ferguson at UFC 279. The fight took place at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States (US) last Sunday (11/9/2022).

In the duel, Diaz managed to beat Ferguson in the fourth round. The American fighter ended the fight against the former UFC interim champion when the fourth round lasted two minutes 52 seconds.
After the fight, Diaz intends to leave the UFC after 15 years with a fight promotion. Even so, many believe that Diaz is lined up as a potential opponent of ‘The Problem Child’ – as Jake Paul – if he is able to get past former UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva on 29 October.
However, Diaz recently took to social media and claimed that the only guy she wants to fight is The Rock. In fact, Diaz would quickly retire if the fight with WWE legends and actors couldn’t be done.
“I just want to fight The Rock, otherwise I’m fine,” said Diaz, quoted from Talks Sport, Thursday (22/9/2022).
This isn’t the first time Diaz has taken aim at The Rock. Ahead of UFC 279, the 37-year-old fighter caught everyone off guard during an ESPN interview when he took off his boots and showed them to the camera saying, “These shoes suck!
“Look at these shoes. They made me wear this shit. To hell with these shoes!” said Diaz.
Of course, Diaz didn’t carelessly attack his own shoes. Because they were shoes endorsed by movie stars and professional wrestlers that he didn’t like. Earlier this year, the UFC announced that ‘Project Rock’, the motivational performance brand created by The Rock, would become UFC’s official footwear partner.
