The Kremlin has reacted after the statement of the president of the United States of America, Joe Biden, that there will be a severe reaction to Russia if it uses nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, at the same time the head of Putin’s propaganda, declared that there is no need to explain at all about the issue of nuclear weapons, as it is all written in Russia’s doctrine.
The Moscow Doctrine envisages the use of tactical nuclear weapons in the event of an aggression against the Russian Federation that endangers Russia’s existence and territorial sovereignty.
Earlier, Joe Biden issued a serious warning to his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin. The head of the White House advised the Kremlin chief not to use nuclear or chemical weapons in the war in Ukraine, as everything would change for the worse.
“Just don’t do it. This would change the landscape of the war, unlike anything seen since World War II, Biden said in an interview for the “60 Minutes” show. However, President Biden did not go into detail about what the American response might be if Russia were to exceed that limit. “You think I would tell you if I knew the correct answer? Of course I wouldn’t find out. But it will have many consequences”, declared the head of the White House.
