According to Medvedev, Zelensky in the end only had two choices: face a military court or return to his acting career.
Medvedev’s statement appeared in an email interview published Friday (12/8/2022).
“(It will be) a military tribunal or return as a supporting role in a comedy show,” Medvedev told Russian journalist Nadana Fridrikhson, when asked about Zelensky’s possible fate.

Medvedev, now deputy head of Russia’s National Security Council, previously called Zelensky “an unshaven man wearing a green T-shirt”.
Medvedev also compared Zelensky to Nazi Germany’s leader Adolf Hitler after the Ukrainian president urged Western countries to close their borders to all Russians.
Prior to becoming president of Ukraine, Zelensky was a comedian and actor.

From 2015 to 2019, Zelensky played the high school history teacher who unexpectedly becomes the president of Ukraine in the television series “Servant of the People.”
