Raducanu’s name skyrocketed after winning the 2021 US Open and was predicted to be a new star in England. This makes many are looking forward to the action of the 19-year-old tennis player.
However, Raducanu changed his coach after winning. Until now, he still hasn’t been able to return to his best form with a new coach.
Since splitting from Torben Beltz in April, he is now reportedly without a permanent coach. This affects his performance.
Raducanu’s achievements faded and were only able to reach the second round of Wimbledon 2022. That made him want to immediately restart his career journey.
“I want to start from scratch. I think it would be nice to take all the lessons from the last year and start from scratch,” said Raducanu, quoted by Eurosport.
That’s why Raducanu can’t wait to get past the US Open. That way, he would no longer be burdened by being a Grand Slam champion later that year and be able to perform without any pressure.

“This year has been really tough. I definitely went through and experienced a lot of challenges. However, I learned from all of that. I think it will be fun once the US Open ends and it continues from there,” he said.
