TANTRUM – Good news came from 22 paralympic athletes from Bandung who successfully contributed dozens of medals to Indonesia at the 2022 ASEAN Paragames. They won 15 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze.
A total of 22 paralympic athletes from Bandung successfully contributed dozens of medals to Indonesia at the 2022 ASEAN Paragames. These achievements consisted of 15 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze.
Out of the 8 sports that Bandung City athletes participated in, 7 sports were won by Bandung City athletes. Among others: blind judo, sitting volleyball, weight lifting, table tennis, table tennis, badminton, goal ball.
This achievement was appreciated by the Bandung City Government. In an audience at the Pendopo, the Chairman of the Bandung City PKK TP, Yunimar Mulyana thanked him for this extraordinary achievement.

He said, the city of Bandung has always been at the forefront in various fields. The paralympic sports are no exception.
“It is a great honor. The city of Bandung has always been at the forefront of any aspect,” said Yunimar, Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
He also said that the Bandung City Government would always foster paralympic athletes. Moreover, said Yunimar, Bandung City’s paralympic athletes have extraordinary potential.
“The training of the athletes has been excellent. They are in process and there is nothing great about an instant process,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the National Paralympic Community Indonesia (NPCI) of Bandung City, Adik Fahroji hoped that the NPCI of Bandung City and the City Government of Bandung could synergize to make Bandung, West Java and Indonesia proud.

He also hopes that in the future, disability will not only be an object, but also a subject.
“We prove it with this achievement,” he said.
Adik also expressed his gratitude for the appreciation and guidance that had been carried out by the Bandung City Government. He ensures that the process is a top priority in the training of athletes.
“We ensure the process. There are no instant athletes here,” he said.
For information, Indonesia came out as champion at the 2022 ASEAN Paragames. The Red and White Troops came out as champions with 175 gold medals, 144 silver medals, and 106 bronze medals.
