Thailand U-16 and Vietnam U-16 managed to advance to the semifinals through different conditions in their respective groups. Thailand previously joined in Group B to be the leader of the group.

While Vietnam U-16 in Group A along with Indonesia U-16, Singapore and the Philippines. They qualified for the semifinals with the title of best runner-up from the three groups.

“The team is also ready for any scenario, including a penalty shoot-out or win or lose 90 minutes,” he continued.
From the same media, it was described that the conditions in the Thailand U-16 squad were incomplete ahead of this match. They will not be strengthened by the captain Pacharaphol because of the accumulation of yellow cards in the group stage.
The Vietnam U-16 vs Thailand U-16 match will take place at the Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman on Wednesday (10/8/2022). Kick off starts at 15.30 WIB, then the match Indonesia U-16 vs Myanmar U-16 at 20.00 WIB.
