Benzema is now entering his old age in football. Even though he has extended his contract, Benzema’s role will certainly be replaced by someone one day. Therefore, Real Madrid is looking for a replacement.
According to a CaughtOffside report, Friday (5/8/2022), Real Madrid are eyeing Red Bull Salzburg’s talented striker, Benjamin Sesko. Sesko, who is currently 19 years old, is indeed on the rise.

The Slovenian has impressed with Red Bull Salzburg last season. Noted, he was able to record 11 goals and seven assists from 37 matches with Red Bull Salzburg in all competitions.
Not only that, he is also recorded as having collected three trophies at a young age. The three trophies are the Austrian League title (2020-2021, 2021-2022), and one Austrian Cup 2021-2022. No doubt, Sesko became the target of many big clubs.
Although Real Madrid are reportedly interested, Los Blancos must first compete with Chelsea and Manchester United. Reportedly, the two clubs are also targeting Sesko’s signature.

Chelsea want Sesko to sharpen the attack line. Meanwhile, Manchester United reportedly want to bring Sesko as a coating for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Unfortunately, neither Sesko nor Red Bull Salzburg have opened up about these rumors. Moreover, Sesko himself still has a period of service at the Red Bull Arena until 2026.
