Mikey’s brother, Robert Garcia, was trusted to be Anthony’s coach to face the fight. Mikey, who had watched the training, was optimistic that Anthony could avenge Usyk.
“We had training with AJ for a few days. He looks really good,” said Mikey Garcia quoted from Boxing News 24, Friday (5/8/2022).

“It looks like they have a very good game plan too. My dad and I were watching. Rob is obviously very, very good at what he does,” added the 34-year-old boxer.
In addition, Mikey also felt that Anthony had a major advantage to be able to win the fight. He said Anthony and Robert continued to conduct analysis to determine the pattern of the fight that would be carried out later.
“We are happy with this fight. I feel that AJ has everything to win the fight.”
“They see and analyze each fighter to find out what type of fighter they are,” he concluded.
