“After the birth of the National Sports Grand Design (DBON), I immediately set the target for the Paralympics,” said the Minister of Youth and Sports, quoted from the official website of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Friday (5/8/2022).
In the past, Indonesia did not have a sports design, now since its birth, DBON Indonesia has placed the Paralympics as the main target. Whereas ASEAN For Games and the Asian Para Games are intermediate targets.

“The big dream of the Indonesian nation is 100 years of Indonesia’s independence in 2045. God willing, we hope that Indonesia is ranked 5th in the world, at the Olympics and Paralympics,” hoped the Minister of Youth and Sports.
The Minister of Youth and Sports added that the proud results in the 2022 ASEAN Para Games Solo should be used as motivation for the 2024 Paris Paralympics. Currently, Indonesia still occupies the first position in medals.

“If you are good at playing in the ASEAN Para Games and Asian Para Games, then you will definitely be sent to the Paris 2024 Paralympic qualification, so this is motivation for them so they will show that they deserve to be sent to the 2024 Paris Paralympics,” added the Minister of Youth and Sports.
