Suara.com – Everton are reportedly targeting fellow English Premier League club Wolves defender Conor Coady to sign in this summer’s transfer window.
Reported by Sky Sports, Thursday (4/8/2022), Everton head coach Frank Lampard still needs strength at their back line and Coady is considered the right person.
On the other hand, Wolves still want to keep the England centre-back, but Coady’s desire to defend the Three Lions at the 2022 World Cup could make him move to another club in order to get playing time.
In addition Wolves have also just landed defender Nathan Collins from Stoke City in the transfer market this summer, and could have reduced Coady’s playing time at Molineux even though he is club captain.

Everton will look to make Coady their fourth signing of the transfer window this summer after landing centre-back James Tarkowski, full-back Ruben Vinagre and winger Dwight McNeil.
Everton have not looked very active in the transfer market this summer, despite having lost important figures such as striker Richarlison to Tottenham Hotspur.
The player whose full name is Conor David Coady has been with Wolves since 2015 when he decided to move from Championship Division club Huddersfield Town.
During his time at Wolves, Coady was recorded to have appeared in 317 matches in various competitions and contributed seven goals and seven assists from a total of 27,606 minutes played.
Currently Coady still has a contract at Wolves until June 30, 2025 and it is estimated that the price of the 1.85 meter tall player will reach 25 million euros or around Rp380 billion.
