If the two rematch it will be an interesting spectacle after in June 2017 Mayweather did what most people expected and beat McGregor in the boxing ring. But McGregor got a lot of credit just for holding on to reach the 10th round against a man believed to be the greatest boxer ever.

Now, according to Fight Hype, the two sports legends are currently in talks for a possible rematch. The boxing site added that Mayweather would earn another “nine-figure salary” if the fight was concluded.
McGregor also hinted that a deal could be done. He shared a photo from their first fight – comfortably in which he landed a punch to Mayweather’s body on the ropes – with the caption “I accept”.
Mayweather’s win against The Notorious proved to be his last pro fight, taking his record to 50 wins and zero losses or draws. From then on he toyed with exhibition boxing fights – all but one which proved to be very one-sided.
The Money brought Tenshin Nasukawa to tears in 136 seconds in 2018. YouTube’s Logan Paul beat Mayweather by eight rounds, but many fans have speculated that’s how it should have been.

And last month Mayweather ‘fight’ his longtime sparring partner Don Moore in an exhibition on the helipad in Dubai. The 45-year-old boxer knocked out Moore twice over eight rounds while he was doing exhibition boxing.
Meanwhile, it was McGregor’s first professional boxing fight against Mayweather after his absence from the UFC. But since their memo, both men have hinted that a rematch could be an option in the future. McGregor has not fought in the UFC for almost a year since he suffered a terrible broken leg in the loss to Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight.
