Currently, the Israel U-19 national team is in second place in Group B of the U-19 European Cup with a value of four points from one draw and one win. Through this route they have the opportunity to appear in U-20 World Cup 2023
In the last match of the Israel U-19 National Team, they will play against England, Saturday (25/6/2022). A draw is enough to ensure one ticket goes to U-20 World Cup 2023 which will take place in Indonesia in September-October next year.

So what about PSSI’s attitude regarding the possibility of Israel qualifying for the 2023 U-20 World Cup? If that happens, it might cause a polemic considering that the two countries (Israel-Indonesia) do not have diplomatic relations.
“About Israel, I signed an agreement with the government last year. So, anyone can come,” said PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan.

Mochamad Iriawan said that the football event was quite open to every country. So, there is no limit even though Israel will compete in Indonesia.
“This is football. So, there is no problem. We will still accommodate Israel,” he added.
