Suara.com – The Banda Aceh Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested three of the six perpetrators involved in the demolition of the Bank Aceh Syariah ATM machine in Lampaseh Village, Meuraxa District, Banda Aceh City.
“Three of our six perpetrators were arrested in the Lambhuk area, Ulee Kareng sub-district, Banda Aceh, on the same day, at around 2:57 p.m. West Indonesia Time,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Banda Aceh Police, Kompol M Ryan Citra Yudha, in Banda Aceh, Saturday (14/5). /2022).
Previously, residents of Banda Aceh thwarted the efforts of a group of people who tried to break into the Automated Teller Machine or ATM Bank Aceh Syariah.
However, his actions were caught by residents passing around the crime scene and the perpetrators immediately fled, and were unable to steal the money from the ATM machine belonging to the regional government, so the police gave chase.

They were arrested after collecting evidence, studying the statements of witnesses and residents and reviewing CCTV footage around Bank Aceh ATM machines.
Ryan said, as for three of the six perpetrators of the demolition of the Aceh Bank ATM machine that had been arrested, namely MAM (26) a parking attendant, a resident of Darul Imarah District, Aceh Besar.
Then, the other two perpetrators who were involved and arrested were minors, each with the initials MH (16) from Banda Aceh City and ZUF (16) a resident of East Aceh.
“Meanwhile, the three other perpetrators who are still at large have the initials WAH (25), BY (25) and BBM (23),” he said.
Initially, Ryan said, information developed that there were five actors involved in the case of dismantling the ATM machine using a Toyota Avanza. However, it was later revealed that there were six perpetrators.
