Seventeen years on, the Prince of Saudi Arabia still hasn’t woken up from a coma. Al-Waleed Bin Talal is now dubbed the Sleeping Prince or Sleeping Prince because he was still unconscious.

The photo, which was uploaded on May 8, 2022, shows the figure of a man lying in a hospital bed. At first glance, Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal did not look in pain and just seemed to be asleep. But he has been in a coma for more than 17 years.
In the photo, Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal appears to be connected to various medical aids, including a ventilator to help him breathe. Beside him was his father, Khaled bin Talal, who accompanied Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.
“May God heal him. My dear, may God protect you,” wrote Rima Talal in her upload.

Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal’s condition occurred because he was injured in a car accident in 2005.
