Law enforcement officials told the . news agency Associated Press that at least 10 people died in a shooting at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York.
Buffalo Police said on Saturday (14/5) afternoon that the suspect had been arrested. The two officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to explain the case publicly.
It was not immediately clear how many other people might have been hit by gunfire. The suspect has not been identified.
Authorities warned that the investigation was still in its early stages and they had not yet concluded a clear motive. However, they are investigating whether the shooting was racially motivated.
