Haaland’s final goal at Signal Iduna Park, a farewell to Dortmund

DORTMUND – Erling Haaland scored his last goal for Borussia Dortmund before joining Manchester City in the 2022/2023 season. Haaland led Dortmund to a 2-1 win over Hertha Berlin in the final week of the 2021/2022 German Bundesliga at Signal Iduna Park, Saturday (14/5/2022) night WIB.

Dortmund went behind first through Isaac Belfodil’s penalty spot in the 18th minute’. However, Dortmund hit back through Haaland from the penalty spot in the 68th minute and Youssoufa Moukoko (84′).

After the match, the Norwegian national team player also said goodbye. Next season, the 21-year-old will compete in the Premier League with The Citizens – the nickname of Man City.

After the match, Haaland also said goodbye via his Twitter account. The young striker feels very honored to have been part of Dortmund for the past few seasons.

Haaland feels that he has had a lot of experience while playing for Borussia Dortmund so far. This makes Haaland very grateful for the opportunity that has been given by Die Borussen so far.

“At @BVB I’ve spent unforgettable moments, meeting special people, not to mention the fan base that has always been our extra on the pitch.”
