2021 SEA Games Rowing Final Results: Women’s Quartet Adds Silver

HAI FENG – The Indonesian contingent again adds to the silver medal coffers in SEA Games 2021 . The additional silver medals came from four Indonesian rowing athletes, Chelsea Corputty/Syiva Lisdiana/Aisah Nabila/Yuniarty from the Women’s Lightweight Coxless Four.

Competing at the Thuy Nguyen Hai Phong Aquatics Center, Vietnam on Saturday (14/5/2022) morning WIB, the quartet managed to occupy the second position from other competitors. Meanwhile, Anggi Widiarti/Anisa Shopiani only managed to finish fourth in the Women’s Double Sculls final.

Previously, Rowing had managed to donate eight gold medals for the Indonesian contingent at the 2021 SEA Games. The eight gold medals were contributed by Kakan Kusamana/Ardi Isadi (Lightweight Men’s Double Sculls), and Sulpianto/Memo (Men’s Double Sculls).

Then, there are Denri M Al Ghiffari, Ferdiansyah, Ali Buton and Mahendra Yanto (Men’s Lightweight Coxless Four), as well as Ardi Isadi, Ihram, Kakan Kusmana and Ali Mardiansyah (Men’s Lightweight Quadruple Sculls).

Next, there was Denri M Al Ghiffari/Ferdiansyah who contributed gold from the Men’s Pair number, and Ihram (Men’s Lightweight Single Sculls). Meanwhile, the Men’s Lightweight Pair number represented by Jefri Ardianto Suwarno/Rio Riski Darmawan also managed to donate gold.

Then, the last gold came from Sulpianto et al in the Men’s Quadruple Sculls number. Of course, the struggle of the Indonesian rowing contingent deserves more appreciation because it managed to donate eight gold and six silver.
