Seedorf had just embraced Islam in early March 2022. At that time there was no further explanation of what he felt until the former AC Milan player decided to convert to Islam.

However, Seedorf feel happy to join with Muslim brothers around the world. Right after a month of converting to Islam, Seedorf finally experienced fasting during Ramadan for the first time.
Seedorf also felt happy to be able to welcome the fast of Ramadan just hours after his 46th birthday on April 1, 2022. This was conveyed through his personal Instagram social media account (@clarenceseedorf).

“I feel so blessed that my first official Ramadan started just hours after my birthday,” wrote Seedorf.
“We wish all Muslim brothers and sisters around the world Ramadan Kareem. Peace and peace to each other,” added Seedorf.
