An exciting match was presented when the 76ers hosted the Los Angeles (LA) Lakers at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center Arena. Playing in front of their own fans made the 76ers appear crazy.
The result in the first quarter they managed to lead 32-22 over the Lakers. In the second quarter, the visitors managed to cut the points deficit to 48-54 with the 76ers.
However, in the third quarter, the 76ers were able to widen the points to 88-68 over the Lakers. Although Frank Vogel’s men could win in the fourth quarter, it was still not enough to avoid defeat.
The match ended with the 76ers winning 105-87 over the Lakers. In this match, Joel Embiid became the top scorer for the 76ers with 26 points in 35 minutes.
On the other hand, despite recording a double-double with 31 points and 12 rebounds in 34 minutes, Anthony Davis could not help the Lakers win.
In other matches, the Warriors managed to overcome the resistance of the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Chase Center Arena. In the first quarter the two teams drew and had to share points 29-29.
But in the second quarter, the Timberwolvers managed to get a 61-57 advantage over the Warriors. While in the third quarter, the home team managed to reverse the situation to 95-81 over the Timberwolvers.
