PSMS Medan who are members of Group A are still waiting for a schedule from PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB). The management of PSMS Medan through the Secretary General Julius Raja took the initiative to directly contact the Director of PT LIB, Akhmad Hadian Lukita.
Julius then received information that the schedule and vanues for Group A and Group D would be announced after PT LIB held discussions with the government which was planned to be held on Tuesday (28/9/2021).
“So that Group A and Group D participants are not upset, he (Lukita) asked us to wait for the results of the meeting with the government. They (LIB as the league operator) will announce the results of the meeting on Wednesday (29/9/2021) later,” explained Julius .
Julius stated, based on Lukita’s narrative, in the meeting PT LIB would later propose two options, namely Planning A and B.
“Currently, as we have seen, Groups B and C have kicked off. We haven’t had Groups A and D yet. This is related to the PPKM permit not yet issued. So that this can be obtained they will offer Planning A and B to the government,” said Julius.
“Plan A: For Group A, if it can’t be done in Sumatra, it will be proposed to be held in Java. Plan B: If it can’t be implemented in Kalimantan, it will be implemented in Surabaya. Whatever the decision, everything will be announced on Wednesday,” he continued.
The man, who is usually called King, stated that immediately a decision regarding the schedule and venue will be issued, it will make it easier for PSMS Medan to immediately book flight tickets and lodging.
