Anthony Sinisuka Ginting opened Team Indonesia’s victory over Russia. Without difficulty, Ginting ended Ivan Sozonov’s resistance in two straight games with 21-8, 21-8.
Positive results then continued in the women’s singles number. Gregoria managed to frustrate Anastasiia Shapovalova’s resistance through straight games 21-14 and 21-13.
