CIA wants to kill Assange, ready to fight with Russian agents on the streets of London

WASHINGTON – CIA , in the era of President Barack Obama, once planned to kill or kidnap the founder of WikiLeaks Julian Assange and American whistleblower journalists. For the mission, American intelligence agencies are ready to battle the streets of London against the agents Russia .

CIA plan exposed Yahoo News in its report on Sunday (26/9/2021). The report was published based on interviews with 30 former US officials.

The CIA or the US Central Intelligence Agency was under the leadership of Director Mike Pompeo when the plan to kill Assange was made.

The report also provides insight into how the US national security apparatus escalated its war with WikiLeaks under two successive US administrations.

At the height of hostilities preparations in 2017, the CIA had expected Russian agents to help Assange escape from the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.

In such a contingency, America, along with Britain, planned to engage in street battles against Russian agents, potentially starting a firefight, crashing into a Russian diplomatic vehicle, or shooting at the tires of a Russian plane to prevent it from taking off.

Back then, the CIA hoped Assange would show up on Christmas Eve.

“It was very funny,” a former senior US government official said of the situation around the Ecuadorian embassy in London at the time.
