TURIN – Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri , made interesting comments when asked who the candidates for the Scudetto title were this season. Without mentioning his own team, Allegri said AC Milan, Inter and Napoli were the teams closest to the title.

Allegri is reluctant to include Juventus’ name in the current Scudetto winner because he is aware that his team is far from the top of the standings. Italian League 2021/2022 . Juventus, to be precise, is currently in 12th position with five points.

Juventus’ position is far behind with Milan, Napoli, and Inter perched at the top. Currently the three clubs are competing in the top three and are fighting for the top spot.

So, don’t be surprised if Allegri mentions Milan, Napoli and Inter as the favorite teams to win the 2021-2022 Italian League for now. He felt the three teams really deserve to be watched.

Then by not entering Juventus as a strong candidate for the scudetto winner, did Allegri give up to lead the team to win the title? The answer is of course no because Allegri still believes Juventus still has a chance to win.

Keep in mind that the 2021-2022 Italian League has only entered its sixth week, so there are still many games that need to be played. For now, Allegri’s focus is to restore Juventus’ performance so that they can continue to win.

Allegri hopes that in October 2021 Juventus can consistently play well so they can collect three points. Slowly but surely, Allegri will try to catch up to Milan, Inter and Napoli.

It was only when Juventus had returned to the top position, only then did Allegri dare to enter the Bianconeri’s name as a strong candidate for the Scudetto winner. However, for now he sees Milan, Inter and Napoli as the three strongest teams until the sixth week.

“The favorites for the title (Italian League 2021-2022) are Inter, Milan and Napoli. At the moment we have dropped a lot of points, we have to continue playing without looking at the table,” said Allegri, quoted from the official Juventus website, Sunday (26/9/2021).

“Let’s be consistent and in November we will see where we are, it will be a very interesting challenge.”
