China’s warning was echoed in the state-backed Global Times, as the leaders of the four-nation “Quad” gathered in Washington DC.

The meeting at the White House was organized by US President Joe Biden and attended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
