According to an ESPN report, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested Jones on charges of misdemeanor domestic violence and the crime of injuring and damaging a vehicle at 5:45 a.m. local time, Based on the Clark County criminal record, Jones is currently in custody. He will also undergo his first trial in court on Saturday (25/9/2021).
This arrest is unfortunate because Jones is actually at his best. Prior to the induction of the UFC 165 vs Alexander Gustafsson fight, Jones revealed his training schedule was more consistent than ever.

“Right now, for the first time in my career, I’m really training consistently,” Jones said at his first news conference ahead of his 2022 heavyweight debut.
“I feel in better shape now than before. I sleep better, eat better, drink less – alcohol – and I feel really good.”
This is not the first time Jones has been involved in legal affairs. In 2012, he was in prison on a misdemeanor charge after crashing his Bentley into an electric pole in upstate New York.

Big incident Jones the next occurred in April 2015, when he was involved in a hit-and-run that left a pregnant woman with a broken arm and resulted in her losing her UFC title. Although Jones avoided jail time, he got 18 months of probation.
In March 2016 he had her involved in a verbal altercation with an Albuquerque, NM police officer, after being accused of drag racing.
