Newsdelivers.com – After updating Twitter Spaces, Twitter is now back to giving good news with a new feature called Tips. This Tips feature was actually released last May, but at that time it was only for users in the United States.
In time, the Tips feature will be able to be enjoyed by users all over the world, including Indonesia. Of course this is good news, especially for content creators.
What is the function of that feature for? Well, this Tips feature allows users who are content creators to make money from their followers. Interestingly, this feature is not only present for iOS users, but also Android.
“We will be rolling out Tips for iOS users first, then Android users in the coming weeks,” said Esther Crawford in an announcement quoted from her official Twitter blog.

So with this Tips feature, you can appreciate or support content creators that you like. Or if you are a content creator, you can earn money from your followers because they support your talents.
So what is the Tips feature like? When you visit an account and see that there is a banknote icon next to the “Following” button, you will now know that the account can be tipped.
When this feature is clicked, users can directly select the payment platform that will be used for remittances. For its own service, currently Twitter only provides payment platforms such as Bandcamp, Cash App, Chipper, Patreon, PayPal, Razorpay, Wealthsimple Cash, and Venmo. The most recently added include GoFundMe (an online fundraising platform) and PicPay (Brazilian mobile payments platform).
After clicking on the service you want to use, you will be immediately redirected from Twitter to the application you chose to send money to. Twitter does not take a share of the funds provided by the tipper.
Please also note, in order to use this feature or enable the Tips feature on your profile, Twitter requires users to be 18 years of age or older and comply with all general rules and policies of the Tips feature.
